Who We Are
Learn Music Gear was established in 2021 after years of teaching and providing technical support for musicians trying to figure out how to use their gear.
We knew there was a better way to understand this elusive technology than reading endless, boring technical manuals or scouring YouTube for just the right how-to video. Hence, LMG was born to give you a solid foundation of knowledge, while providing practical steps you can apply today to improve your music experience, no matter your current level.
Andrew Bonica
Andrew Bonica, is a graduate of Berklee College of Music, and has worked with major recording artists and on blockbuster films, in some of the most legendary studios in the world for the past two decades.
Andrew has taught at the University of California, San Diego, as well as at the collegiate level. He was formerly a product manager at Yamaha Guitar Group where he lead the development of wireless and guitar products.
In 2021, he created Learn Music Gear in order to share his passion and knowledge of music technology, as well as help musicians take advantage of all the gear available to the modern musician.
